Profile

The back-row made three apperances for Namibia in the 2007 World Cup. He went on to appear for the national side in the Africa Cup in 2008 and 2009 and was a key part of the squad which qualified for the 2011 World Cup. And Du Plessis won a IRB Nations Cup medal in 2010 with the squad.

Du Plessis has played for the Rotherham Titans in 2009 ending the year with their player of the year accolade. He currently plays for the Wanderers in Namibia but he will return to Europe following the World Cup.
